The Island of Komodo

An immersive, hallucinatory, genre-blurring odyssey - Too Much Love Magazine
A unique artistic vision - Earmilk

‘The Island of Komodo’ is an experimental album inspired by a short magical-realist story which addresses how social prejudice and alienation can impact an individual’s sense of identity. The album employs a giant sonic canvass; the sounds of Berlin’s industrial waste lands, one-off instruments from the local flea markets, a chamber orchestra, musical saws, pedal steel, Cristal Baschet and experimental vocals from performance artist Ayu Okakita.
